Swimming with Manatees | Crystal River, FL

Swimming with Manatees in Crystal River Florida is one of the coolest things we have ever done in our lives. We rented wet suits for $10 and launched our kayaks at Hunter Springs Park. We were swimming with manatees at the park before we even put our kayaks in the water. We kayaked through Kings bay and over to Three Sisters Springs to jump back in the water with the manatees. There were soo many manatees at Three Sister Spring, it was truly magical and one of the top things to do in Florida without a doubt.

While planning our trip from Isle Royale to Acadia, we discovered the newest National Park, Indiana Dunes National Park in Indiana. We came to explore and go hiking and kayaking. It was a new experience filled with wander, questions, steel mills and bogged out lakes. Lake Michigan waves were nothing to be messed with and we opted for Little Calumet River kayak adventures and sand dune exploration.
